12 Killed and 309 Injured in Houthis Attack on King Khalid International Airport Riyadh

At least 12 people were killed and 309 others injured in an attack on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh on Saturday, according to Saudi Arabia’s civil aviation authority.

The authority said the victims included four Saudi nationals and two Bangladeshi citizens.

One citizen each from the United States, Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Palestine and Sudan was also killed in the attack.

Meanwhile, officials said some of the injured remain in critical condition.

Authorities have shifted all injured people to different hospitals, where they are receiving necessary medical treatment.

The Saudi civil aviation authority also confirmed that the attack caused damage to property at the airport.

However, officials have not yet disclosed the full extent of the damage.

Authorities are currently assessing the affected property and determining the scale and nature of the losses.
