Sindh Opens High-Tech Agriculture Lab Offering Free Crop Testing

The Sindh government has launched a state-of-the-art Agriculture Research Laboratory in Tandojam, offering farmers free and faster crop disease testing.

The facility can conduct up to 90 diagnostic tests simultaneously, allowing experts to identify crop diseases and viruses more quickly.

Sindh Agriculture Minister Sardar Muhammad Bakhsh Mahar, who inaugurated the laboratory, said its advanced molecular testing technology can detect diseases within two hours.

This will help farmers take timely action to protect their crops and reduce potential losses.

Mahar said the laboratory will modernize agricultural research, strengthen the agricultural economy, and help protect crops from climate-related challenges and declining agricultural productivity.
